Dr. Robert J. Herman Orthodontic Treatment for Children & Adults team recently volunteered at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Our group, along with other volunteers, helped sort 10,000 pounds of apples into 5 pound bags to be used in and around the Tulsa community!
It was such a fun experience to be able to help out our fellow Tulsan’s and see how just a few hours of work can impact so many people in such a positive way. We were even told the apples that were not usable would be taken to their local hog farms, so nothing went to waste!!
We all walked away feeling grateful and happy to be able to help such an impactful organization. Dr. Herman and our team are always looking for ways to be involvled in our community and have participated in countless events over the year. Our participation includes financial support as well as man hours to get the job done.
